Hi,
I get the following errors when trying to startup sendmail. I have a
NetBSD-1.5/i386 machine, and no IPv6 turned on. The only flags to
sendmail are "-bd -q30m".
Mar 12 01:33:08 piglet sendmail[188]: starting daemon (8.11.1+3.4W): SMTP+queueing@00:30:00
Mar 12 01:33:08 piglet sendmail[188]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(root): opendaemonsocket: daemon MTA6: can't create server SMTP socket: Protocol not supported
Mar 12 01:33:08 piglet sendmail[188]: daemon MTA6: problem creating SMTP socket
Mar 12 01:33:08 piglet sendmail[188]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(root): opendaemonsocket: daemon MTA6: server SMTP socket wedged: exiting
Any suggestions ?
Regards.
