Hello people,

When I upload stuff to my webserver via FTP, I always have to chmod the files
afterwards, because the "other" bit doesn't have read permission. Is this an
umask related issue, or is there a way to automate this, so "other" will have
+r when the file is created? My umask in ~/.profile is 2. This wasn't
happening with my previous system (openbsd). Thanks for any help.
