AH HA!!! OK! I misunderstood. It's working the other way around from
what I incorrectly assumed! It's *adding* your hostname!
Isn't this a "good" thing?
The only other logical thing to do would be to not pass the $DISPLAY to
the remote session if it didn't look like it would work there....
