nice - so network buffers are not allocated statically.
so why we have NMBCLUSTERs option in kernel config?
only for setting it's upper limit?

nice :) so they are consuming so many on ma machine because there are a
lot of free memory. when more memory will be needed it will give it back
VERY NICE!
