I must be getting senile. Now I remember. I have something like this
in my ~/.bashrc on the computer with the tape drive:
backup() {
for i in $@; do
dump -0u -B 2000000 $i;
done;
}
(It's 2G DDS.) Then I do "backup / /usr /home", or whatever.
