Has anyone any experience/advice re pppd variation between 1.4.X/ and
1.5 (i386)? We are about to upgrade a group of remote servers to 1.5
from 1.4.X. and our initial tests (same hardware/modem/lines) on one
server has failed with fcs errors (after the interface comes up). The
basic 1.4.X pppd config is

    lock 38400 crtscts modem /dev/tty01

The line is ok with a plain terminal connection (ok in that I was not
able to force an overrun with text dumps)

Any ideas?
