I want to install via my serial.

Using NetBSD-1.5_ALPHA2 for i386 boot disks:

I exited out of sysinst.

I did:
 slattach -l -h -s 115200 /dev/tty00
 ifconfig sl0 aa.bb.cc.156 aa.bb.cc.155 # aa.bb.cc. are real :)

(By the way, where is a man page that tells how to use ifconfig with
slip? For example, how do I know that the first IP is the IP to assign
locally and the second IP is the gateway?)

I can't ping anything because I don't know what to do on the other side.

What do I need to do on the other end of the serial wire?
It is a 1.4.2 box with regular ethernet/internet access.
aa.bb.cc.155 is the IP on the ethernet interface on it.

How do I configure a slip server?

Where can I find this documented?

Does anyone have any hints, steps or suggestions on how I can get the base
install sets from my server to the new computer over the serial?

(By the way, I have to get up in three hours to catch a plane to BSDCon.)

Thanks,
