Hum, strange. I have some NetBSD clients as well, ocasionally the servers
gets down (not for long periods, note) and I've *never* seen this.
I use amd, with
-opts:=resvport,rw,hard,bg,intr
or occasionally
-opts:=resvport,rw,hard,bg,intr,rsize=16384,wsize=16384
maybe amd is what helped me here ...
