Attic's appear in the directory where the file was removed.  For example,
look at http://cvsweb.netbsd.org/bsdweb.cgi/basesrc/usr.bin/elvis/ .

This is part of groff - look at /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/groff/addftinfo
