a little more on this.  i tried to set up a new partition, entered a start
cylinder, hit enter so sysinst would fill in the default, and it makes the
partition end on cyl 1023.  BIOS only thinks there's 1022 cylinders, and
sysinst is supposed to use those values, yes?  what am i missing here?
