Subject: 1.5_ALPHA sysinst and fdisk don't match

hi all,

sysinst seems to find the bios geometry fine, but specifying the partition
(not disklabel) in cylinders leads to confusing data at least. sysinst
says my first partition ends on cyl 521, fdisk says end of 519.

This leads to two other observations:
1) When sysinst says a partition ends on cyl 521, I don't know if that
means the beginning or end of said cylinder. Could this be made less

2) Why can't the output in sysinst look a bit more like fdisk? That way
I'd know exactly what I'm working with.

output follows from sysinst, fdisk, and dmesg.

*********** Output from sysinst (hand-typed) *********

This disk matches the following BIOS disk:

BIOS # cylinders heads sectors
------ ---------- ------- -------
0 1022 128 63

Now, using part of the disk, specified in cylinders, I get:

Edit your DOS partition table. The highlighted partition is the currently
active partition. The partition table currently looks like:

   Start(cyl) Size(cyl) End(cyl) Kind
   ---------- ---------- ---------- ----
0: 0 520 521 DOS FAT16, >32M
1: unused
2: unused
3: unused
