	Presumably the Linux VESA console device drops into real mode to
	perform all the display operations? NetBSD already makes BIOS
	callsfor APM on i386, so (AFAIK) technically there isn't any reason
	why it couldn't be possible for someone to write a similar driver
	for NetBSD, which could sit underneath wscons. Not something I'd
	want to run on a production box, but sounds about right for a
	laptop :)

	wscons as it is now should allow 80x50 text screens on vga, and
	random other sizes on non i386 ports with sane display hardware :)
