AFAIK the 2940UW Pro is just a fancy relabeling of the 2940UW Kit.  The
only difference I could see was they were bragging up the "all three 
connectors work" feature, which a friend has been using on a 2940UW for
years.

I guess either check Adaptec's webpage, or read the numbers of the chipset.
