Exactly!  I started out the same:

Microsoft -> Linux (Slackware, basically) -> NetBSD/i386 -> NetBSD/macppc

I would be very interested in something like this.  I think there are
probably quite a few people out there who have a similar OS history (it's
logical isn't it [the OSes just keep getting better as I went on...heh]).
