Sure, no problem. All the IPNAT does is translate packets going
out of an interface. This is entirely separate from how you get
packets to that interface, mind you.

Sure. My /etc/ppp/options file reads:
ttyb
38400
crtscts
defaultroute
connect "chat \"\" atdt3675380 ogin: foo word: bar"
Of course, you may not need the ogin: and word: in the chat script;
I just log in manually (rather than via PPP authentication) because
my ISP seems to have trouble if I don't do this.
