I'm cleaning up my network at home (small number of NetBSD machines) and
have decided its time to actually do it up right and get the automounter
going and something like NIS so I have 1 home dir. that I see from any
machine rather than different home dirs.

My question is does anyone have any thoughts about the merits of using NIS
over Hesiod (or vice versa)?  I've not been able to find much info on
hesiod but it looks like it can maybe do more?
