SCSI variant will work. There is support for IDE variants in -current, but
not in stock 1.3.2 or 1.3.3. There are patches for 1.3.2 or 1.3.3 wich
adds support for this (among others) in
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/arch/i386/
