I'll give you about a 1:10,000,000 chance.  I've never heard of using
parallel port scanners on NetBSD, for reasons similar to the ones behind the
non-ability to use parallel port ZIP drives.

AFAIK, the only scanners supported by NetBSD are SCSI.
