Hi, all!

As it turns out, for some reason Quake II wasn't willing to create saved
game directories. Creating all of them myself did the trick, however.

The directories needed were:

/emul/linux/[...]/quake2/baseq2/save
/emul/linux/[...]/quake2/baseq2/save/current
/emul/linux/[...]/quake2/baseq2/save/quick
/emul/linux/[...]/quake2/baseq2/save/save0
/emul/linux/[...]/quake2/baseq2/save/save1
/emul/linux/[...]/quake2/baseq2/save/save2
/emul/linux/[...]/quake2/baseq2/save/save3
/emul/linux/[...]/quake2/baseq2/save/save4
/emul/linux/[...]/quake2/baseq2/save/save5

Mode 0755 was sufficient for all of them...

Now I just need to figure out how to save all my preferences between
sessions. :) I'm guessing I can set a lot of stuff either in the config
file, once I understand the format, or on the command line.

Later...
