Is it my imagination or does passive ftp to ftp.netbsd.org not work
realiably?  I'm behind a firewall here and passive is my only way
out.  I can get the first 8 files, however the connection hangs
after that.

Other sites, don't seem to have this problem.  Does anyone else
see this behavior?
