I'm trying to set up sup to mirror parts of the netbsd source. I keep
getting errors like:
# sup -fv supfile
SUP 8.26 (4.3 BSD) for file supfile at Mar 20 21:34:31
SUP Upgrade of current at Fri Mar 20 21:34:31 1998
SUP Fileserver 8.13 (4.3 BSD) 6676 on sup.netbsd.org at 21:34:31
SUP Requesting changes since Dec 31 17:00:00 1969
SUP: SCM GOAWAY Can't read list file sup/current/list/pkgsrc
SUP: Error reading file list from file server
SUP: Upgrade of current aborted at Mar 20 21:34:33 1998
SUP: Aborted
and can't figure out what is wrong. My supfile is (without the \ and
all on one line):
current release=pkgsrc host=sup.netbsd.org hostbase=ftp/pub \
base=/usr/local/sup prefix=/usr/local delete execute
This seems to follow the man pages and the README.sup file. Any
suggestions? Do I need to set up more than the sup file on my client?
Can someone send me a supfile that actually works?
Thanks.
Cheers,
Brook
