In FreeBSD we had same problem. We had linux wu-ftp and patched it with
=46reeBSD patces.
So. Maybe you have incorrect (master) sources also. To get correct master
of wu-ftpd:
1. get patches for netbsd (from some NetBSD mirror)
2. give command make and it will ftp the correct wu-ftpd sources
from net and make a working wu-ftpd to you
This works on FreeBSD.
