I have NetBSD 1.0 running on an Amiga (A2000 with 030@25MHz) and a PC (486@50)
and i'm observing that the system load - either as reported by xload or uptime
- is only updated every 5 seconds. (Of course xload is started with -update 1).

Is there any reason for this behaviour? I ask because i'm quite sure i have
seen xload update the load in finer steps even on NetBSD, and if i'm not too
wrong, even on NEtBSD V1.0.

So, what's going wrong here - possibly some missing things in the kernel?
