Hi all!
To those wanting to do *real* programming, gnat-2.00 (the free
Ada9X compiler base on GCC) is now
up and running for NetBSD-1.0/i386. You can grab it (anon ftp) from:
ordago.uc3m.es:pub/NetBSD/ports/gnat-2.00-netbsd.tar.gz
It works `out of the box' if installed under
/usr/local/install/gnat-2.00. To run it, first type (from a csh):
% source /usr/local/install/gnat-2.00/env-vals
If you want to install it in other place, I think the `standard'
gnat method should work (I haven't tried it).
Thanks to all that helped to make this thing happen...
Jesus.
PS: If you are thinking about using Ada and NetBSD, please drop me a line.
Maybe we'll find the same problems in the future.
