Your sup file looks like an old one of mine that got the same errors. 

Here's my latest one that has been working.

current release=allsrc host=sun-lamp.cs.berkeley.edu hostbase=/a/anon_ftp \\
base=/usr/public/src/netbsd prefix=/usr/public/src/netbsd  old delete \\
use-rel-suffix

(NOTE the \\ should not be there, it has to be one line)
