The specific question is: Are there commercially produced binaries
that run under NetBSD 0.9 ? NetBSD 1.0 ?

The general question is: What is the policy of the development team?
Personally, I am happy with all-PD software, but some people just have
to run a particular commercial spreadsheet, for example.
