Is anyone using sendfax (of sendfax+mgetty) with netbsd 0.8?  I can't 
get it to work and I am starting to suspect the com driver.  I know
that there were latency problems with the early driver (386bsd 0.1) -
what was the situation at 0.8 ?  

Also, since I am trying to *send* a fax, we are really talking about
transmission underruns; is this a problem with the 0.8 driver?

Is there any way to update my driver without updating my entire system ?
(I am in the middle of writing a thesis and can't afford to take the 
risk of 0.9 not installing.)
