FWIW, I also have Pegasos box.  I haven't had a chance to seriously
look at porting to it.  I'll point out that it is much easier to
work from documentation than trying to reverse-engineer what other
people have done.  I have run into several cases where open source
folks have written incorrect code--whether through misreading docs
or through having to guess when docs aren't available or easily
obtainable.  While it's possible to get things "working", these
mistakes can lead to "inexplicable" behavior and kludges to "fix"
the problems.  I'm not saying that would be the case here--just
that Matt's desire for the real docs is not unreasonable...

Also FWIW, I've run into plenty of developer documentation that
was wrong, too.  And a few places where schematics weren't updated,
too.  So nothing's perfect, but even with a few errors here or
there, docs/schematics are far better than the lack of them.
