Various companies produced hardware addons to the QL - one even
went as far as to produce a 68040 based machine which ran (I
believe) a slightly modified version of the QL Operating System.
This was the Q40, and as far as I know you can still get them if
	you're interested :)

The original QL was a neat if quirky idea - somewhat handicaped by
a keyboard that made the Atari ST look almost good, and the
unforgettable 'microdrive' (a minute version of a stereo 8-track,
used to store data). The whole focus of the microdrive wasn't
to be fast, high capacity, or reliable, but to be small. On that
	at least, it succeeded.
