I think *BSD is like a castle, no two castles are the same and yet they all
share similar features. They all have dungeons, they all have towers, they
all have a way of keeping the invading hordes away from the main keep.
Windows/* is like a trailer house, it always looks the same on the outside,
its got crappy walls that can't even block sound much less an invading
horde, and it toilets back up regularly. :-)

The nice thing about the book is that it will give you a good conceptual
map of where things belong.
