On my alphas, I get:

Machine egcs-1.1.1 egcs-1.1.2
------- ---------- ----------
Multia: 91407.7 Dhry/s 91743.1 Dhry/s
PWS433a:	440528.6 Dhry/s 497512.4 Dhry/s
AS200 4/233:	173010.4 Dhry/s 170648.5 Dhry/s

where the PWS433a has no off chip cache.

I tried BWX but it didn't seem to make any difference.

I'm not sure why my multia and yours achieved such different values, but
the interesting config of mine is: NetBSD 1.4.1, 64MB Ram.
