Disk\RAID Firmware Engineer
Spectra Logic is seeking a Sr. Firmware Engineer to help create, design
and give birth to several new storage hardware products. We're seeking
someone to join a small team environment and produce real products that
will be used around the world.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have BSEE/BSCE/MSEE with 5+ years of
experience in embedded systems. Must have broad experience with
different RTOS environments and tools, and direct, hands-one expertise
in ANSI C, C++ and assembly. We need an expert in Unix-based operating
systems. Ideally, you'll have hands-one experience with BSD. A strong
background in storage and storage networking is highly desirable. You
should have:
* Experience working with SCSI
* Experience implementing RAID system software
* Experience working on hardware/software co-development=20
* Experience work at different levels - application and device
driver
Education/Experience:
Prefer BS/CS, BS/ECE, BSEE, or equivalent technical or military
experience.=20
Travel:
This position is projected to have about three weeks of travel per year.
Full Time, Direct Hire Exempt Position=20
