Hi!

i could need some help on the following issues:

I want to install netbsd on an Apple Network Server 500/132. After =20
spending many hours i managed to boot from external cd on scsi bus, =20
with a cd burned from the macppc iso image of netbsd 1.6.2.

The cd is toasted as ISO 9660, macintosh names allowed.
Any other cd=B4s , such as multisession cds=B4s from iso images or =20
multiboot cd=B4s failed to boot.

Now i am in sysinst, the harddisc has their partitions (default) and =20
sysinst wants me to tell it where the .tgz sets are located.
Here is my problem:

choosing :
device cd0 (default), directory /macppc/binary/sets(deault)
tells me that there are no mandatory installation sets.

But i know they are...

So questions are:
1. Is it only the wrong device name? How can i figure out how it is =20
named?
2. May there exist a problem using a ISO 9660 CD?

Another idea:
Once i=B4ve booted into sysinst, i could remove the device and plug a =20=

harddisk. How must the harddisk set up to get a mountable device for =20
sysinst?

Net is known not to work properly on ANS 500 for installation.

Help please!

Thanks ,

Peter
