I burned the ISO image on various CD and burning software, with always the same
result.
I also have the same kind of problem with desktop BSD.

I can copy the file GERERIC_kernel.tgz from the CD to my hardisk on Linux.
I can open it with the KDE untar software.

I have a DVD-ROM Pioneer DVR-109.

May be there is a problem with the format used with BSDs or with the untar
sofware ?

I have never had such a problem with Linux.

Any other ideas ?

THanks.
