Hi Zafer!

My sincerest apologies. Upgrade not update was your question. What I do is
now is place my data on a separate disk and reinstall everything from
scratch and put back my old configs when appropriate.

I have already made 2 attempts to upgrade on an existing machine but
noticed serveral problems compared from a clean install on another box
(identical same model, make, services, applications etc.). Though problems
was entirely my fault not NetBSD's.

Searching and fixing errors I made vastly took longer than doing a clean
install. There were files I left (or removed) that made my upgraded system
behave strange. But of course, others might have a different approach on
your question but my knowledge is not yet sufficient to do a
seamless/expert upgrade.

Joseph
