A faster way of doing so is provided by pkgsrc/pkgtools/pkgclean, AFAIR.
In case you don't know yet, distfiles are by default downloaded to
pkgsrc/distfiles. If using security/audit-packages without adjustments
to PKGVULNDIR, make sure you don't delete the vulnerability-list. ;-)
