Hi Rui,
Thanks. Some time ago I took your advice and intstalled the mplayer
plugin:
$ pkg_info |egrep 'fire|mplayer-plugin'
firefox-1.0.2 Lightweight gecko-based web browser
mplayer-plugin-firefox-2.70nb3 Mplayer plug-in for firefox
As you say, it works on the NPR page.
Tonight I tried a different URL that invokes the external gxine instead of
the plugin:
http://newyorkphilharmonic.org/attend/season/index.cfm?page=eventDetail&eventNum=698&seasonNum=5&effortcode=lcorg0506
(http://tinyurl.com/7pfat)
Can you listen to Chopin Piano Concerto No. 1? I get the cook.so.6.0
complaint.
