I am having problems with the laserjet 4 dvi driver and dvicopy...

I'm using \usepackage{times} in my latex document, and
after I latex the document, I do:

dvilj4 doc.dvi

and receive several error messages of the form:

dvilj4: warning: font family for ptmri7t is UNSPECIFIED; need to run dvicopy?

so I run dvicopy doc.dvi tmp.dvi

and receive several more error messages of the form:

dvilj4: warning: font family for ptmri8r is UNSPECIFIED; need to run dvicopy?

The full output of dvicopy is shown at the end of this message.  The
thing that looks suspicious is the repeated lines of:

VF file: ''


Are there some paths that are not set properly or a confuguration
file that is not correct?  This is installed from the latest binary teTeX
package from the NetBSD server.

I know that I could just remove the \usepackage{times} and use the
cm bitmaps for the lj4, but I was hoping to have the postscript and
non-postscript printer output look identical.
