If it's ffsv1, you should be able to mount it, perhaps after munging
the disklabel.

I did dump/restore to upgrade the disk in my laptop, and am pretty
sure that nodump flags were preserved.

That should work fine.  I have actually done dumps under IRIX and
restored to NetBSD.
