Hello

running: NetBSD 2.0.2_STABLE i386

I am experiencing a problem and don't where to begin to solve it -
hence this post.

When I run a program from 'xterm' as root, after I exit the
program it remains in the 'top' output and the cpu usage rises quickly
until it reaches around 99% and I then have to kill the pid. 

This has happened when running mutt and ipfstat, e.g. 
What is the problem here? Thanks in advance.
