It occurred to me that Zafer Aydogan wrote in gmane.os.netbsd.help:

That is like going into a car dealership,  saying "I can't help but notice
that when I turn on the lights, one of the headlights isn't working", and
the car dealer answering "There's a simple solution to that: Don't turn on your
lights".
