I think so, as traceroute www.sgi.com displays a "normal" output on 2.0, while
on mac

traceroute to www.sgi.com (192.48.159.40), 64 hops max, 40 byte packets
 1 * * *
 2 * * *
traceroute: sendto: Host is down
traceroute: wrote www.sgi.com 40 chars, ret=-1
3 *traceroute: sendto: Host is down
traceroute: wrote www.sgi.com 40 chars, ret=-1
 *traceroute: sendto: Host is down
traceroute: wrote www.sgi.com 40 chars, ret=-1

and so on...

Thank you very much, I shall switch back to something without these problems.
I have always had success running a -current kernel with 2.0 userland, I'll
try again this configuration :)
