Well, I got it to compile.  I don't know the exact problem, but to get 
it to work, I first "downgraded" my pkgsrc from -current to 2004Q4.
When it still wouldn't finish a build, I tried disabling kerberos 
(USE_KERBEROS="NO"), and it finally went through.
