Hi,

I just upgraded my workstation to 2.0 from CD, and let me first
say, the installer has come a long ways ... this was the fastest,
easiest upgrade ever! The only hitch was figuring out how to get
mail going again, but that was very minor. Kudos to everyone who
worked so hard on 2.0!

After doing the upgrade, my next task was to rebuild from source
and get a custom kernel built (and I was very excited about the
prospect of using the new build environment). The tools built
fine, but

cwr@achilles#./build.sh -O ../obj -T ../tools -U -u distribution

cd /usr/src/../obj/etc && STRIP=/usr/src/../tools/bin/i386--netbsdelf-strip /usr/src/../tools/bin/nbinstall -U -M /usr/src/../obj/destdir.i386/METALOG -D /usr/src/../obj/destdir.i386 -h sha1 -N /usr/src/etc -c -p -r -T etc_pkg -o root -g wheel -m 555  MAKEDEV /usr/src/../obj/destdir.i386/dev

This is off of a fresh checkout of the netbsd-2-0 branch.

Any help suggestions are much appreciated.

Cheers,
Chris
