Hello

Intro:
-------------------------------------------------
bsd: {2} uname -a
NetBSD bsd.home.bsd 2.0.1 NetBSD 2.0.1 (MYGEN) #0: Sat Jan 29 21:20:05 GMT 2005 jr0@bsd.home.bsd:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/MYGEN i386

After my first ever NetBSD crash I have this problem:

	bsd: {3} /usr/pkg/etc/rc.d/slpd start
	Starting slpd.
[1] Segmentation fault (core dumped) /usr/pkg/sbin/slpd

Please see below for clues as to possible causes/fixes and TIA for any
help.

History:
---------------------------------------------
- added /dev/wd1f after writing new disklabel and then newfs'ing it
- updated kernel and userland from cvs sources (from 2.0_BETA)
- had a crash using X and had to power off and reboot
- ffs check called for manual fsck_ffs check, having found
inconsistencies in /dev/wd1f
- Done. _Many_ "UNKOWN FILE TYPE" errors (e.g. I=22870)
- did 'fsck -y' to fix
