I am trying to install netbsd 2.0/i386 on a machine that has been
running 1.6.1 successfully for some time. Its main network interface
has been the wi(4) driver.

When I try to configure the machine the wireless card is detected by
the kernel and the network seems to be started correctly. That is,
ifconfig(8) and wiconfig(8) seem to report reasonable values. Indeed,
'wiconfig wi0 -D' successfully scans for access points and detects the
correct one. 'wiconfig wi0' reports the correct information about
SSID, etc.

However, the network is actually nonfunctional. For example, 'ping'
reports no responses and 'arp -an' reports only an incomplete
address.

There must be something that I am missing in setting up 2.0. What
should I be looking at to track down the problem?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Brook
