hello folks,
yesterday i was wandering if and how is it possible to install packages with
flags as you can do with the gentoo tool "emerge", for example: you can install
the package without its manpages, or without anything you dont want...

i read all the pkgsrc documentation (i think so), but i've not found shell environment
variables or other procedures to do the job, yet (yes, apart from modify the Makefiles).

what would be the exact procedure to follow, if one exists?
