FWIW, I compiled these on i386 1.6 using the stock 2.95.3.  

gcc3-c-3.3.2        GNU Compiler Collection, v3 - C compiler
gcc3-c++-3.3.2      GNU Compiler Collection, v3 - C++ compiler
gcc3-f77-3.3.2      GNU Compiler Collection, v3 - F77 compiler
