Installing 1.6.2/i386 from ftp.netbsd.org,
with huge ISP bandwidth, from Italy.

- The ftp download of xfont.tgz reaches 100%

- Then I get error message:
  "421 - Service not available, closing control connection."

- If I select "retry" from installer,
  dl completes again 100%, but error recurs.

- Giving up results in aborted install.

- Error is reproducible, always affecting xfont.tgz,
  always after 100% download.



However, I experience no problems while

- installing via ftp from e.g. ftp.funet.fi

- dl'ing from ftp.netbsd.org using either
       * standalone ftp client
       * ftp-capable browser.



Is this worth investigating?
