Hello All,

Because my bootloader was not able to correctly handle segments that are
larger than a couple of MB. I put a workaround in it last night, and it
works fine now....:-)
FYI, My platform is SL-5600, I use kexec syscall to boot netbsd from
Linux 2.4.

Right. Why don't you gzip the whole kernel? The NetBSD/i386 install 
floppy file system images used to do that, IIRC.
